FAQ 1

QUESTION 1: What is the difference between 35mm Photo Film, Super 8mm Video Film, & 4K Digital Footage?

35mm film is used for photography, offering rich, textured tones and a classic, tangible feel that sets it apart from digital images.

Super 8mm film, a video format, is celebrated for its nostalgic, grainy aesthetic, delivering a vintage and timeless look ideal for romantic and heartfelt storytelling. Digital footage, on the other hand, provides crisp, high-resolution 4K quality, ensuring unmatched clarity, detail, and versatility—perfect for sharing and preserving your moments with modern precision. For those who want the best of both worlds, a hybrid package is available, combining the charm of film with the convenience of digital.

QUESTION 2: What’s included in all video packages?

All video packages include a professionally edited teaser and full film (duration based on your selected rolls and coverage), along with social media reels that are perfect for sharing with family and friends online. You’ll also receive the raw, uncut version of the super 8mm video film.

QUESTION 3: How long will it take to recieve my completed video package?

Typically, it takes about 4-6 weeks to develop and process the film, as well as edit and deliver your full package. For digital packages, we aim to send out a teaser within the first two weeks, while the full film follows within the standard 4-6 week timeframe. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process so you know when to expect your finished film—don’t worry, we’re just as excited as you are.

QUESTION 4: What makes your approach to engagement/wedding videography unique?

Our engagement/wedding filmmaking approach centers on storytelling, capturing the essence of your love in a cinematic, authentic way. Each film is designed to tell a seamless narrative that reflects the emotions and atmosphere of your day, so you can relive these memories for years to come. From the initial consultation, we’ll explore your vision and key moments to remember, crafting a personalized mood board to guide the style. As your engagement/wedding day nears, we work closely with you (and your planner) to create a schedule tailored to your package, ensuring every important moment is beautifully preserved in a cohesive, timeless film.

QUESTION 5: How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during peak wedding seasons, to ensure your preferred date is available.
